My first historical thriller novel was written while I was living in a 13th Century stone Chateau in the south of France several years ago. The house had a magic of its own and it seems as if the carved stone staircase and old cellar “pulled” the story out of me, line by line.
I furiously studied the amazing and gruesome history of the Languedoc region of the 13th Century Catholic crusades, the Inquisition, and a small but powerful religious order known as the Cathars. The more I read and researched, the more vivid the plot of my novel became.
Recently I had the opportunity to return to the Chateau with a small film crew and we put together a short promo video for my novel, Almost Perfect, which is currently only available as an eBook on Amazon but will soon ( a couple of months) be available in paperback.
Here is the video:
If you have a Kindle or an iPad or PC, use the Kindle App to download this exciting historical thriller and immerse yourself in crusades, the inquisition, murder and a timeless love affair.
